History

Founded 1914

St Leonard's College began in 1914 as a small girls' school of eight students in St Leonard's Church Hall, Brighton, founded by Miss Rebecca Cullen. Associated with the Presbyterian (later Uniting) Church, it became co-educational in 1972 and was the first school in Victoria to offer the International Baccalaureate (1982).
