Founded 1882

Founded on 14 February 1882 in Kew as the first Australian girls' school established by the Wesleyan (Methodist) Church, with Rev. Dr William Henry Fitchett as inaugural principal. In 1990 it became the first school in the world to introduce laptop computers for all students from Years 5 to 12.
